Ashley Godwin Joins TPG as Public Relations Specialist

Emmy-award-winning journalist brings media relations and strategic communications experience

The Peacock Group is proud to welcome Ashley Godwin as public relations specialist, bringing nearly 10 years of expertise in media relations, creative innovation and strategic communications. Godwin’s award-winning broadcast journalism background will elevate TPG’s client successes through visual storytelling and media relations outreach. Based in the agency’s Little Rock office, Godwin will support TPG’s client partners throughout the state.

“Not only were we impressed with Ashley’s creative storytelling background, but she knows how to operate and adapt within fast-paced environments,” said Denver Peacock, APR, founder and principal of The Peacock Group. “Her media relations background – both in front of and behind the camera – will be an invaluable asset to our clients as she designs compelling narratives with a keen eye for detail. We are excited to welcome her to the team.”

Godwin joins TPG after serving as a public relations specialist at another Arkansas strategic communications agency, where she assisted in PR strategies for clients in agriculture, business-to-business and public affairs. She also developed PR strategies related to the agency’s ethical use of artificial intelligence, which led to an external campaign positioning her as a thought leader in technology advancement.

Before her agency experience, Godwin worked in broadcast journalism for nearly 10 years as an Emmy-winning journalist covering Arkansas politics, crime and education for KTHV11. She also worked in Joplin, Missouri, as a weekend anchor for KSNF16, where she covered news in the surrounding states of Oklahoma, Kansas and Northwest Arkansas.

Godwin is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), serves on the Little Rock Arts and Culture Commission and is president-elect of the UCA Honors Alumni Association. A native of Little Rock, Godwin graduated cum laude from the University of Central Arkansas with a bachelor’s degree in public relations.
