Founder and Principal
Denver brings 30 years of experience to The Peacock Group (TPG), the award-winning strategic communications firm he founded in 2014. As principal, he offers strategic guidance and support on public relations and public affairs projects, events and initiatives. Previously, he served as senior vice president at the region’s largest independent full-service communications agency and worked at The White House and on two presidential campaigns.
An honors graduate of Ouachita Baptist University and the University of Arkansas School of Law, he is an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and International Association of Business Communicators. He serves as a UAMS College of Public Health advisory board member, Rotary Club of Little Rock past president and Little Rock Sister Cities Commission past chairman. He spearheaded efforts to mark the 300th anniversary of La Petite Roche, the French expedition up the Arkansas River that led to our region’s namesake.
He previously served on the boards of Arkansas PRSA, IABC Arkansas, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arkansas and Arkansas’s Independent Colleges & Universities. He was the 2020 recipient of Arkansas PRSA’s Crystal Award, an industry award presented to chapter members who have made significant contributions to the field of public relations over the course of their careers. He is a graduate of Leadership Arkansas (Class V), Leadership Greater Little Rock (Class XX) and Delta Leadership Institute Executive Academy (Class 2017-2018) and member of the Delta Leadership Network. He has been named to Arkansas Business’ “Arkansas 250” and “40 Under 40” lists of influential Arkansans. He is also the founder of Hoops for Kids’ Sake and Home Runs for Kids’ Sake, annual bipartisan legislative charity basketball and softball games, and serves on the Heights Neighborhood Association board and as chair of the Light the Heights! Initiative.
He is an adjunct professor at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and oversees the family’s Jackson County soybean and rice farm operations. He and his wife, Melissa, have two children, Presley and Hudson.
